Gail Werner is a writer, photographer, and avid reader from Indiana who loves seeing the Midwest represented in literature. She carries a book with her wherever she goes and writes contemporary fiction for young adults.
She graduated from Ball State University in 2004 with a degree in journalism and now works as a media relations strategist for her alma mater as well as a feature writer for its magazine. She is on the planning committee for the Midwest Writers Workshop and a contributor for Writer’s Digest’s Guide to Literary Agents blog, one of the biggest blogs in publishing.
In addition to her writing career, she is a freelance editor (who can’t believe she gets paid to read); an avid photographer (who has documented quite a few ‘I do’s); a yoga enthusiast (but not that kind of yoga); and pop culture junkie. She lives in Muncie (aka Middletown) with her writer-husband, Nick, and their toddler son, Dean.
